XComparerChainWithT Method

Chains two comparers. The resulting comparer will first compare items using comparer, and if it's not enough to decide which is greater, it will use nextComparer to decide.

Parameters

comparer
Type: System.Collections.GenericIComparerT
The primary comparer.
nextComparer
Type: System.Collections.GenericIComparerT
The secondary comparer.

Type Parameters

T
The type of the objects to compare.

Return Value

Type: IComparerT
A comparer that will use the primary comparer, then the secondary comparer if necessary.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IComparerT. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
