Parameters

source: Type: System.Collections.GenericIEnumerableTSource
The sequence of elements to group.
comparer (Optional): Type: System.Collections.GenericIEqualityComparerTSource
A comparer used to test equality between elements (can be null).

Type Parameters

TSource: The type of the elements of source.

Return Value

Type: IEnumerableIGroupingTSource, TSource
A sequence of groupings of adjacent elements.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IEnumerableTSource. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
